James Doohan and Gerry Thomas die
Thursday - July 21, 2005
James Doohan, best known as Scotty on Star Trek, died in Washington State at the age of 85 after a long fight against Alzheimer's. Additionally, Gerry Thomas, the inventor of the TV dinner, has also passed away at the age of 83.
He gave to Mis'ry all he had, a tear,
He gained from Heav'n ('twas all he wished) a friend.
